It’s hard to believe that Street Fighter will be turning 30 in 2018, but to celebrate this major milestone, Capcom has announced the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. A 12-game compilation of some of the most beloved Street Fighter games (and their re-released versions).
The publisher announced the collection during the Capcom Cup Finals, a California based tournament focused on the Street Fighter franchise. The collection brings together an assortment of various Street Fighter games prior to the release of Street Fighter 4, which includes:
Street Fighter
Street Fighter 2
Street Fighter 2: Champion Edition
Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting
Super Street Fighter 2
Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo
Street Fighter Alpha
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Street Fighter 3
Street Fighter 3: 2nd Impact
Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike
That’s a lot of Street Fighting coming to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in May. To add to this already impressive collection, Capcom also announced that Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike will also be updated with online multiplayer.
