The third chapter of Starcraft 2 got its first trailer yesterday at Blizzcon. Subbed “The Legacy of the Void” the game will continue the plot of the game in the view of the Protoss while also being a stand-a-lone game. In other words, you can play Legacy of the Void even if you do not own the Terrain campaign “Wings of Liberty,” or the Zerg campaign “Heart of the Swarm.”
A new Multiplayer feature was also announced called Archon Mode. The new mode will see two players working together while attempting to control one base vs a duo doing the same. Blizzard will be announcing more about the mode and a release date for Legacy of the Void soon.
