The multiplayer bank heist shooter Payday 3 is set to launch later this month and Strabreeze has given fans a first look at the content roadmap for the game’s first year.
While details are limited, the roadmap shows a name and a couple of images for each update. Year 1 is called the Bad Apple, themed around New York City and will feature 4 DLCs – Syntax Error in Winter 2023, Boys In Blue in Spring 2024, The Land Of The Free in Summer 2024, and Fear And Greed in Fall 2024. A variety of other updates will also release during the same time frame. Other updates will include seasonal events, new playable characters, cosmetics, skill lines, features, enemies, and weapons.
Payday 3 is currently in Open Beta between September 8th-11 in which players can try out one heist called “No Rest For the Wicked.” The Beta is based on a build from April 2023 and doesn’t represent the final game, however it won’t be long after that you’ll get to gather your friends and get to robbing, as Payday 3 releases on September 18th.
