While we got a ton of news from the Nintendo Direct last night, one was especially exciting for Star Wars fans as one of the best Star Wars titles has been confirmed for a re-release on the Nintendo Switch – Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2 – Jedi Outcast. After the direct it was also confirmed by the official Star Wars Website that it will also be coming to PS4 and its sister game – Jedi Academy – will follow in 2020.
Both games were developed by Ravensoft in the early 2000’s and were highly praised for its third and first person gameplay – as players got to experiment with a variety of guns and gadgets from the Star Wars universe and have the best example of lightsaber gameplay that has never been replicated since.
Jedi Outcast will be available on September 24th 2019 with Jedi Academy following in 2020. At the time of writing, there is no price set for the games or if they will feature any new extra with the exception of the option to use motion control aiming on the Switch.
