While EA won’t be at E3 this year, there is still reason to keep your eyes on the EA Play event as the publisher has announced that their recently revealed Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will get its first gameplay details during the event.
The EA Play event will be separated into multiple livestreams that will air during the week prior to EA, starting on June 7th and ending June 11th. It is set to take place at the Hollywood Palladium and attendees will be able to watch presentations and play unreleased games.
Despite the event being separate from E3, it was still considered to be part of the big show with a major press conference to showcase various games. Last year, EA used the show to show off Anthem, Bioware’s troubled loot-shooter, plans for Battlefield V, and several EA Original titles, like Sea of Solitude, which we’re expecting to hear more of during the event this year.
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is in development by Respawn Entertainment, who created Titanfall and Apex Legends. The game takes place between the prequel and the original trilogy placing you in the role of Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan who escaped Order 66 and is attempting to hide from the Empire’s Jedi-hunting Inquisitors and Purge Troopers. The game is set to release on November 15th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
