Since Assassin’s Creed 2, fans have been wanting to go to china with the iconic Ubisoft series, and now we’re going to get what we want… Well… Kind of.
Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Unity’s Season Pass that will be available when the game launches on November 11th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Season Pass “opens up every piece of DLC” for the game which will include the announced Dead Kings Story DLC that follows after the end of Assassin’s Creed Unity, 30 new weapons, equipment, outfits and a stand-alone game called Assassins Creed Chronicles: China.
Chronicles will be a 2.5 platformer which is set in the 16th century Middle Kingdom and stars Shao Jun, a female assassin who was trained by Assassin’s Creed 2 lead Ezio Auditore. Fans of the series would point out that Shao was previously shown in the Assassin’s Creed universe thanks to 2011 animated short Assassin’s Creed: Embers, as well as the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Novel by Oliver Bowden.
Ubisoft has yet to specify if Chronicles will be exclusive to the season pass or if it will release separately when the game comes out, but expects to have it along with all the DLC for the Season Pass by early 2015.
