Before I start this post, I have to express some frustration. I really want to watch Powers, which was free for PSPlus members since March… At least for everyone in the US. The show has yet to reach Canada, and it’s a real annoyance. That annoyance is just going to get worst for me as Sony released a new trailer for the second season of the Comic inspired Superhero Crime Show.
The second season looks to up the ante with a bigger and bolder story, focusing on a major turning point in the comics, the death of Retro-Girl, one of the biggest superhero in the Powers world.
Most of the season one actors are returning, including leads Sharlto Copley (District 9) and Susan Hayward (Vinyl), however they will be joined by Michael Madsen (Kill Bill, The Hateful Eight), Tricia Helfer (Starcraft 2, Battlestar Galactica) and Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: TNG).
You can see the full cast list at the Playstation Blog as well as more details about the second season from the comic’s co-creator Brian Bendis, who also created Jessica Jones’ character for Marvel, which many of you are enjoying on Netflix right now…
Including those in Canada…
Unlike Powers.
Damnit.
