During Sony’s Pre-TGS press conference ealier this week, Square Enix got to show off more of one of their more enigmatic games, LEFT ALIVE, a new “Survival Action Shooter” set in the Front Mission universe.
The new trailer showed off more of the city that the players will be fighting in and dropped hints about the mechs that will likely play a much bigger role in the game. The storyline is will follow “three main protagonists, each with their own stories, missions and paths to salvation.”
The game is being developed by an all-star team, including director Toshifumi Nabeshima (Armored Core series), Mech designer Takyuki Yanase (Ghost in the Shell and Gundam series) and character designer Yoji Shinkawa, who designed the characters for Metal Gear Solid.
Left Alive is currently set to launch sometime in 2019 on PS4 and PC. We’ll keep you posted on any more updates for the game.
