We won’t have to wait long for Marvel’s Spider-Man as the game is set to launch on September 7th exclusively on PS4. According to Insomniac Game’s Community Director James Stevenson, the playtime during testing on average was about 20 hours, more if the players are out to complete the game at 100%.
Luckily it won’t be long until we get some additional content according to Insomniac on the Playstation Blog, who detailed the upcoming 3-piece episodic add-on together called “The City That Never Sleeps.” The first part of the DLC is set to release on October 23rd and will introduce Spider-Man’s occasional love interest Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat.
According to Insomniac, “The Heist” will add new missions and challenges, a new enemy faction and three additional suits for the wall-crawler. The Heist will be followed up by “Turf War” in November and “Silver Lining” in December, however Insomniac did not give any details at the moment on what will be included with the other two chapters at this time.
All three episodic DLC chapters can be purchases under “Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps” for $24.99USD, or individually for $9.99USD each. Picking up the Digital Deluxe Edition ($79.99USD) will also get you access to the pack.
