Ubisoft’s South Park: Fractured But Whole has been delayed once again, with the game pushed now to next fiscal year which runs from April 2017-March 2018. Back at E3 2016, the game based on everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed kids was originally slated for a Dec. 6th 2016. Three months later the game was delayed to first quarter 2017.
With the delay, Ubisoft changed their sales forecast for the fiscal year which ends on March 31st 2017. The new range, which reflects the fact that The Fractured But Whole won’t be released in the 2016-17 fiscal year, no projects a low of $1.72 billion to a high of $1.78 billion – a $165 million to $186 million drop from expected sales.
Delays is nothing new in for a South Park game, as the predecessor “South Park: The Stick of Truth” seen multiple delays. Originally announced to release in 2012 until publisher THQ pushed the game back, went bankrupt, sold to Ubisoft, then delayed one last time before releasing in March 2014.
