Yet another title getting delayed in January, this time being the PlayStation VR Iron Man game from developer Camouflaj. The developer announced Friday that the game will not reach its February 28th release date and instead will be coming to PSVR on May 15th.
Camouflaj announced the delay via Twitter, saying the two and a half months delay was “to deliver on our vision and meet the high expectations” of players.
In order to deliver on our vision and meet the high expectations of our amazing community, we’ve made the difficult decision to move Marvel’s Iron Man VR to a May 15, 2020 release.” Camouflaj twitter report stated. “We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. You’ll be hearing from us again soon!”
Marvel’s Iron Man VR was announced in early 2019 and was slated for later that year, promising to be “the ultimate Iron Man fantasy in VR,” allowing players to fly and fight in first person as Iron Man.
This January has been especially harsh for delays, as Square Enix announced the delays of both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Marvel’s The Avengers, while CD Projekt Red pushed back the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 until September and Techland announced that their Open-World Parkour Zombie game Dying Light 2 would be delayed indefinitely.
