One of the great features of the PSVita and PSTV is the PS4 Remote Play, which allows you to access your PS4 in another location. While this feature is great for those who have the portable Sony consoles, there is actually a high demand for this feature to be cared over to PC.
It would be possible to stream you’re console directly from PC, after all, Microsoft was able to pull this off with the release of Windows 10 which brings in the features to stream your Xbox One games directly from the PC. Also an Unofficial app called “Remote Play PC” is available in Alpha stage now.
In fact, shortly after the release of the Alpha of Remote Play PC; Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony Computer Entertainment’s Worldwide Studios and frequent PlayStation spokesperson, took to Twitter to reply to the influx of PC Remote Play request, in which he responded.
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. 😀
