If you like your brawler with an extra serving of fan-service, then SNK has the game for you. SNK Heroines – Tag Team Frenzy – will bring together your favourite SNK ladies from the King of Fighters Series and other SNK titles and throws them in a 2v2 fighter.
SNK Heroines promises to be different from the other fighting games of its franchise, focusing on being accessible for newcomers with easy to use special attacks and special items that will help turn the battle to your favour. Plus each character will also have a new Dream Finish Technique which will allow players to win the match after chipping their opponents health away. Players will also use their winnings to buy voice clips and accessories with a new costume system that will allow all the characters to be customized.
SNK recently released a new trailer for the game featuring King of Fighters 97 favourite Shermie, who features a grappling/wrestling style of combat with devastating drop kicks and suplexes. You can check out the trailer for her above.
SNK Heroines is set to release on PS4 (digital release) and Nintendo Switch (physical and digital release) on September 7th, 2018. In case you’re wondering if the game will be censored in North America, because lets face it – Nintendo doesn’t exactly have a good track record when it comes to suggestive content on their platform, SNK has advised that the game will feature the same content as the Japanese release.
