Square Enix announced that United Front’s 2012 open world action game, Sleeping Dogs, will be coming over to PS4 and Xbox One on October 14th, dubbed “Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.”
Similar to the re-release of Tomb Raider; Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition will feature all available DLC for the game on the new consoles, which adds up to $85 worth according to the listing on Amazon. Pre-orders for the upcoming port will include a limited edition case as well as a 28 page art book for retail copies.
Being the second game of the PS3/360 gen games to carry over, it would not surprise us to see other Eidos based games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution or Hitman: Absolution get Definitive Editions for the new consoles… And if the idea didn’t come to mind, you’re welcome to take that Square Enix.
