What happens when you take two extremely popular RPG titles and put them together? Well that is what we’re going to find out when Atlus brings their stellar Shin Megami Tensei series with Nintendo’s Strategy RPG Fire Emblem together on the Wii U. The announcement of the crossover happened during the Nintendo Direct conference on Wednesday.
While the Teaser trailer didn’t give us any glimpse of gameplay for the upcoming crossover, it does give us plenty of character artwork to look at. After the footage, Satoru Iwata said you could expect to see more crossovers with popular Nintendo franchises as they adapt to the challenges of publishing on the Wii U as it could bring a fresh perspective to other franchises.
While we wait to see what exactly is in store for us in this interesting cross-over, we can’t help but wonder what other crossovers can we expect to see from Nintendo. You can see the Teaser trailer after the jump for Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem.
