For most Marvel fans, this news will come as a blessing as Marvel’s VP of games production TQ Jefferson told Hollywood Reporter that “There are no current plans for additional Marvel games to be published by Sega.” Effectively terminating the contract between the two giants.
As most of you may know, the titles released by Sega were based around Marvel Movies Paramount studios were doing that were leading up to the upcoming Advengers. The games included the horrible Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, and the mediocre Incredible Hulk and Captain America.
TQ Jefferson says that games are still an important part of Marvel’s business, the company will be looking elsewhere for game adaptations of its properties moving forward.
