During the finals of the Capcom Cup tournament, Street Fighter executive producer Yoshinori Ono revealed the upcoming cast of Street Fighter 5’s DLC characters starting with fan favourite Sakura.
While Sakura had been teased for some time, fans finally got to see her latest incarnation kick some ass by showing off a new business casual outfit, her skill in combat along with her new V-Trigger moves, and a glimpse at the new stage which appears to be Sakura’s backyard.
Capcom also released a new trailer for the Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, which is set to launch alongside Sakura on January 16th, which surprisingly revealed the rest of Season 3’s characters. The cinematic showecased multiple fan favourites including Blanka, Sagat and Cody are returning to the battle, while intrucing two newcomers: G and Falk.
Sakura will launch on PS4 and PC alongside the Arcade Edition, however the other announced fighters have not been given a release schedule as of yet.
