The only thing going through my mind when I finished Saints Row The Third was ‘how are they going to top themselves.’ The answer? Put the leader of the Third Street Saints in the White House, throw an Alien Invasion and give them Superpowers.
The recently bought out Saints Row series is taking it up a notch with the original developers, Volition Studios, and the first time publisher Deep Silver who purchased the titles during the THQ sale. The studio promises more of the crazy customization and antics that made the series great, and throws in Alien vehicles and weapons as well as a whole bunch of new Superpowers that will allow you to jump over buildings, run faster then a sports car and more.
The game is set to be released on August 20th of this year. While the this story sounds similar to the “Enter the Dominatrix” add-on pack that was originally promised for Saints Row: the Third, Volition and Deep Silver have stated that there is much more content then what was previously on the DLC and they will include the Enter the Dominatrix: Directors Cut when the game releases as well.
