Fans of the adventures of Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang from Rooster Teeth’s massively popular 3D-Anime RWBY will finally be able to take the action to consoles later this month as RWBY: Grimm Eclipse will be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
Being ported by Panic Button, RWBY Grimm Eclipse originally launched on Steam last year after run on Early Access. The game itself is a 4 player co-op brawler inspired by the Dynasty Warrior series and Left4Dead, and involves players taking on hordes of Grimm (monsters that represent malice and hatred) with transformable weapons which compensate for both range and melee. The game takes place between volume 2 and 3 of the popular webseries.
RWBY: Grimm Eclipse is set to release on consoles on January 17th, however there is no word on price at the moment or if the Team JNPR DLC will also be available on that day for consoles as well, we’ll update if we hear more.
