Mario Kart 8 has already seen two DLC packs released a long time ago, considering the last pack came out over a year ago in April 2015. Those two packs came loaded with goodies, 2 cups each (8 tracks total, both retro and new), characters and extra kart options. Not only did they release those 2 packs, they also added a 200cc class for those craving extra fast action. Now, after being quiet and seemingly forgotten, Nintendo of Europe posted something quite cryptic on Twitter hinting towards maybe some possible future DLC.

New DLC would be welcome to this title just to refresh the well worn tracks currently available. For now, this is only speculation, and hopefully we will hear more about this with E3 coming up.
