Rebellion’s Rogue Trooper was a solid game for the PS2 era and we’re excited to see the title comeback with Rogue Trooper Redux, and to help solidify our excitement, Rebellion released a new graphics comparison video (above) to show how far the game’s graphics have come in comparison to the original 2006 version.
The trailer combines and compares cut scenes and gameplay from the original to the remaster, highlighting the overhaul given by Rebellion’s in-house developers and UK studio TickTock Games which includes:
Completely remodelled characters, weapons and vehicles
Remastered cinematics
New special effects
Dynamic lighting
Higher fidelity geometry
Rogue Trooper Redux will be available digitally on PS4, Xbox One, and PC (as well as a boxed edition for PS4 and Xbox One) on October 17th 2017 for $24.99 (USD). A Nintendo Switch version of the game is also in production that will be release later.
