Job Simulator developer Owlchemy Labs announced last year that they would be partnering up with Adult Swim Games to make a new VR game based on the insane world of Rick and Morty. The title, Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality, has now been confirmed for a April 20th 2017 release date… that’s right, a new Rick and Morty game comes out on 4/20, which for some reason feels appropriate.
The announcement came in the form of a Steam page listing. According to the listing players will “Experience life as a clone of Morty and all the trauma that comes with it. Step through portals to strange worlds, help Rick with his bizarre experiments, and use your hands in VR to pick up and play in an interaction-filled 3D Rick-ality. Follow Rick’s directions (or don’t!) to solve puzzles and complete missions in this fully voice acted adventure.”
The listing also delivered the minimal requirements to run the game:
- OS: Windows 7 SP1 or newer
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4590 equivalent or greater
- RAM: 4GB
- Video: GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 480
The game supports both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
