Earlier this week, leaked box art off of Microsoft’s Xbox.com website suggested that the sequel to Resident Evil: Revelations, the 3DS title that was ported to other consoles and beacon of hope for future titles of the series. The box art showed on the site was for the Xbox 360 version of Biohazard: Revelations 2, as well as the above screenshot of what looks to be an abandoned prison.
Since then the list has been taken down, however it is not the first time we’ve seen Resident Evil: Revelations 2. The game first popped up when Russian retailer VideoIGR had the game up for pre-order for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360, the same retailer also had postings for DmC: Devil May Cry Ultimate Edition for PS4 and Xbox One. While a representive at Xbox.com has stated “Capcom has not made an announcement at this time.” we can only assume because of the timing of the box art leak and the Japanese title that we may more about the title at next months Tokyo Game Show.
