Sadly I know a lot of people who came into the Resident Evil series way too late, either starting at 4 or 5 and completely missing the games that made the series what it is. If there was only a way to get them to play the others before Resident Evil 6 comes out.
Well Capcom announced that they’ll be releasing an Anthology at the launch of Resident Evil 6 featuring a digital download for the PSone Classics and the HD remakes of 4 and Code Veronica; as well as Resident Evil 5’s Gold edition which features it’s DLC. Those of you thinking that this is probably going to break your wallet if you want to purchase Resident Evil 6 as well, well the good news is that it also comes with the Anthology and is only $89.99, or $30 more than just getting Resident Evil 6.
Of course there is some bad news with this Anthology, and that is that it’s a Playstation Exclusive and that those 5 titles are all downloadable. For Xbox users, Capcom has just as good of a deal for you though, called the Resident Evil Archives, which features a downloadable code for Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica HD, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition and the Resident Evil: Degeneration movie, which is good.
If your still on the fence about Resident Evil 6, well the good news is that there is a Demo out for the Xbox 360 right now if you purchased Dragons Dogma. PS3 users will have to wait until September to get their demo.
