Rainmaker Entertainment Inc President and Chief Creative Officer Michael Hefferon, and Blockade Entertainment CEO Brad Foxhoven announced today that some celeberty star-power will be joining the upcoming Ratchet and Clank Movie.
Joining the game’s cast, who will return to play their iconic characters in the movie, is the talent of Paul Giamatti (Amazing Spider-man 2, Sideways,) John Goodman (Monsters Inc, Red State,) Rosario Dawson (Clerks 2, Netflix/Marvel’s Daredevil,) Bella Thorne (Amityville: The Reawakening) and Sylvester Stallone (Expendables, Rambo.)
“The collaborative relationship between Rainmaker Entertainment, Sony PlayStation, Insomniac Games and all our partners has helped us to bring this massive game franchise to the big screen,” said Rainmaker Entertainment’s Hefferon in a statement. “Our outstanding celebrity talent together with the original voices from the game really bring these characters to life, and we are confident that Ratchet & Clank will delight fans with its authenticity and charm, while families everywhere will find a new family-friendly buddy duo to love.”

The story will follow our heroes, Ratchet and Clank, as they attempt to stop an evil alien named Chairman Drek (played by Paul Giamatti) from destroying every planet in the galaxy. The movie is directed by Kevin Munroe (TMNT, Dylan Dog) and written by Insomniac TJ Fixman.
No release date has been announced at the moment.
