Death in fighting games, like comics, is a very finicky thing. While normally Mortal Kombat would be a great example of this, today we’re looking at the introduction for Raidou who returns to the Dead or Alive tournament as an Undead Cyborg.
Raidou is the uncle of Dead or Alive Heroes Hayate and Kasumi who was kicked out of the Mugen Tenshin ninja clan for his bloodlust. Kasumi killed him at the end of the first Dead or Alive Tournament, but his body was found by series villain Victor Donovan, who turned him into a cyborg resulting in a patchy memory and even more bloodlust.
Raidou will be playable in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round which will launch February 17th 2015. The updated version of the fight will come to Xbox One and PS4 for a $40 price tag, while the Xbox 360 and PS3 version will see a $30 price.
