Demon Sorcerer, Necromancer and overall bad guy Quan Chi will be making his way into Mortal Kombat X. As with all characters in the upcoming fighter, Quan Chi will bring three forms of fighting with him, Sorcerer; which will give the player more range attacks, Warlock; which gives players access to portals, and Summoner; which allows players to summon beasts to help fight. A gameplay trailer had been released showing off all three styles, Quan Chi’s brutal X-Ray Move and a small glimpse at a Fatality.
Quan Chi has been a Mortal Kombat regular since Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, but was first playable in Mortal Kombat 4, since then the character has been part of a major events in the Mortal Kombat story including the introduction of the Deadly Alliance, and the resurrection of the Dragon King in Deception. Quan Chi also played a major role in 2011’s Mortal Kombat 9 in which he was an unlockable character by completing the game’s story mode.
