One thing that was heavily asked about for Playstation Plus; a 60 a year package that grants you access to free games, beta access and early demos; was on it’s way the Vita. Well we won’t have to wonder that anymore as Sony announced yesterday at Gamescom that the Vita will see their version of the Plus added onto that system. No information was given on what was going to be the initial titles that will be available when launched or when the program will reach the Vita.
In other PSPlus news, the Cloud save storage (arguably the weakest part of the package) was going to be increased from 150MB to 1GB. This increase will be taken place some time in September according to the Playstation blog. Also Red Dead Redemption will be Europe’s free game of the month, while for North America will be getting The Walking Dead Episode 1 and 2 as well as BloodRayne: Betrayal and Outland. These games are available now via the PSPlus menu of the PSN.
