After almost a decade of being off air, the Powerpuff Girls’ short re-debute in their new CGI form was able to spark enough intrest in the series again to bring a new game for the PC called Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville.
Developed by Radian Games, the game has been classified as “a metroidvania with flying superheroes and a heavy dose of action.” Featuring Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup as playable characters voiced by the original actresses, the game also features the ability to switch from the new 2014 Powerpuff Girls style, or the original series art.
Defenders of Townsville is set for a Steam release on March 14th and will be available on Linux, PC and Mac, although no current price point is set. You can check out the trailer below.
