So for those looking for that first look at the upcoming Playstation 5, this is not going to be the stream for you.
Sony did not state what we can expect but that didn’t stop the Internet from speculating on what we can see, and thanks to a recent media invite – there is a good chance that we’ll finally be seeing something new from The Last of Us Part 2, which Sony has been quiet about since E3 2018.
*Update: The Last of Us Part 2 has been confirmed for the show by series director and vice president of Naughty Dog Neil Druckmann in a tweet stating “We’ve been silent for too long. It’s time to put an end to that.”
Sony’s State of Play has received some positive feedback for how the show. The last show took place in May which gave us a look at Monster Hunter World’s Iceborne expansion, a new trailer Final Fantasy VII Remake and the reveal of Predator: Hunting Grounds.
