It’s been awhile since we talked about Playstation’s streaming service, Playstation Now. Might be due to lack of interest, or that we believe the price point for its rental and subscription point is a bit too high. this latest announcement might just pull a lot of people to the service; as Sony announced yesterday that they will be adding over 100 games to the streaming service.
The impressive list is lead by Capcom, who adds 21 titles to the service, which has been listed out by franchise, adding the Resident Evil, Lost Planet, Deadrising, and Street Fighter series. Other titles from capcom include the Capcom Arcade Cabinet pack, Megaman 9 and 10, Bionic Commando Rearmed, and more.
The list continues with adding a handful of games from different genres, most notably is Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign-, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, Oddword Inhabitants “Stranger’s Wrath”, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, Dragon’s Lair, Double Dragon Neon, and Penny Arcade’s “On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness.” Another huge chunk of the list includes a large amount of SNK Playmore titles.
While these are just a fraction of the titles announced for the streaming service, you can check out the full list on the Playstation Blog, and if you’re interested in trying out the Playstation Now services, you will have the ability to test it out for a week, after which the service goes to $19.99 a month.
