It came to a point, after multiple leaks, that we knew Platinum Games was working on a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. After an Australian game ratings board leaked its existence to the public, images and cover art started appearing and then finally, the day before Platinum was going to officially release the trailer for the game… Xbox leaked the trailer by accident.
Possibly making this game the worst kept secret in 2016 already.
Now that Platinum has OFFICIALLY announced that they are once again working with Activision on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, we are able to get a little more solid information and a higher resolution video.
Mutants in Manhattan will be available on PS3, Ps4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC, and will feature both single-player and 4 player co-op, it will also an original story penned by TMNT comic writer Tom Waltz. The game will see the four turtles take on “Aliens, Mutants, and the Foot Clan” with the trailer showing off the appearance of Bebop, Rocksteady, Shredder and the cyber-shark Armaggon.
The game is currently listed for a Summer 2016 release window.
