Framerate and Resolution has always been a touchy subject between developers and players. While players are constantly hoping for 60FPS and 1080p resolution across the board, developers have had a hard time hitting it, opting to go for a lower framerate to keep the game flowing properly.
Some type of games do benefit greatly from the extra framerate, and that is action-brawlers. Luckily, Platinum Games has claimed that the have hit 60FPS for their upcoming cel-shaded-brawler “Transformers: Devastation” across Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and PC. However producer Robert Conkey told Dualshockers that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions may dip to something below that during intensive scenes.
While no release date is currently set for Devastation, we do know that the game is being directed by Metal Gear Rising director, Kenji Saito, and according to reports; the game was pitched to Platinum by Activision, rather then the other way around.
