Activision has released the PC System Requirements for From Software’s upcoming action RPG, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. According to the game’s steam page, the minimum and recommended requirements are not too different from what is needed to play Dark Souls III with some tweaks needed.
The minimum requirements for Sekiro are slightly higher than it was for Dark Souls III, as you’ll be needing either an Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD FX-6300 processor that’s paired with 4 GB of RAM and either a Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon HD 7950 GPU. Of course there is a bump to bring the game up to its recommended settings, however the Steam page does not state the difference between two in framerate and targeted resolution.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a vastly different beast than the Dark Souls and Bloodborne series. For one, the Sekiro’s protagonist, “The Wolf”, will actually speak and its story will play out more like a Japanese Drama. There will also be a lack of Multiplayer, meaning that players will now be able to pause even in the middle of a hectic fight.
In terms of gameplay, Sekiro will also have a focus on Parkour and Stealth, allowing you to move faster and kill more efficiently, and according to early previews, the combat system will focus on wearing down an enemy’s guard before executing them, giving a bit more of a learning curve.
However if you’re worried that the new mechanics and storytelling will deviate from From Software’s challenging difficulty, don’t, as Miyazaki has confirmed that Sekiro will be “even more challenging than previous From Software games”. We’ll have to see for ourselves when Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice release on March 22nd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
