A long while ago, before I picked up my 360, a friend of mine let me borrow his original Xbox, mainly because I wanted to play Halo, Dead or Alive 3 and Jade Empire to see what the fuss was about, he had another game with his collection, I’ve played the Oddworld series and while they were good, they didn’t seem to stick to me as they did with my other friends. However, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath blew my mind.
So naturally I was excited for the news that the Developer Just Add Water had finished their HD remake of Stranger’s Wrath for the PS3. The update features all 84 character models updated, which includes the live ammo, reflective water, new voice work and an audio upgrade.
It will be released for PS3 as a downloadable title and also we will see Stranger’s Wrath mosey it’s way onto the Playstation Vita as well with Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee. However the Just Add Water did not give a release date other than “Soon.”
