Playstation Plus members have a big month to look forward to starting next week as Sony announced the Playstation Plus Free games for October. Here is a taste of the games you’ll be able to play this month.
Firs off is Kingdom of Amalur: The Reckoning. The only game to be released by the now closed 38 Studios, created by R.A. Salvatore, world-renowned artist Todd McFarlane, and legendary game designer Ken Rolston. This massive Action RPG features a well crafted world with some of the best action RPG combat systems on the market.
Shadows of the Colossus amazed us when it first came out on the PS2 with it’s gigantic beasts and beautiful open world. In order to save a girls life, you must seek out and kill 16 Colossi, armed with only a sword, a bow and your wit to bring them down. It’s a perfect addition to Playstation Plus joining it’s predecessor ICO.
The chips are down in Telltale’s Poker Night at the Inventory 2. The game pits you against 4 fast talking characters including Brock Samson (Venture Bros.), ClapTrap (Borderlands), Ash (Evil Dead/Army of Darkness), and Sam (Sam and Max) in high-stakes poker. Playing and winning the Poker tournament gets you access to some great additional content including exclusive themes and items for Borderlands 2.
Sine Mora is this month’s Vita Exclusive. A horizontal shoot’em up game where time is the ultimate factor, featuring a challenging arcade mode and a dark story. Sine Mora features over 60 weapon combinations to complete each beautiful stage that form fits to the player’s skills with scaling difficulty.
Finally, the hit indie game Hotline Miami comes for both Vita and PS3 this month. Players are tasked with murdering the Russian Mafia with any weapon at their disposal in this gory top-down puzzler.
The grand total that these games would normally cost is $70 and all are highly acclaimed title available for the the console. What are you most excite for?
