The Dungeon and Dragon’s Spin-off game Pathfinder is well on it’s way to releasing its own video games under the creative design of Obsidian Entertainment, the team responsible for Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth, and Alpha Protocol. The first game coming out for the series is a Card based title for Tablets that will hit in the next few months.
Discussions are already underway with the possibilities of a full fledged RPG around the Pathfinder universe. “We’ve had a ton of ideas,” said Obsidian’s CEO Feargus Urquhart, “Obviously we could do something like Neverwinter Nights 2. We’re going through all of those things to figure out what would be the best thing to do. I would say we’re just starting to really figure it out, it’s going to be awhile.”
Obsidian’s first Pathfinder game will be based on the card game, Pathfinder Adventure card game, published in 2013. It is meant to be a faithful port of the game and will include the first box set with other cards and multiplayer to be added later.
