Our favourite hair-witch is back (Sorry Milla) and bringing her past exploits to the Switch with her.
During Thursday’s Game Awards, Reggie Fils-Aime appeared on stage and introduced a new trailer for Bayonetta 3. The short cinematic trailer showcased the titicular character and her iconic pistols fighting a ghost like creature and seemingly losing the battle. The screen then fades to an early 2018 launch window.
However that wasn’t the only bit of Bayonetta news we got from the show, as Platinum Games confirmed that Bayonetta 1 and 2 will also be coming to the Switch in February. Much like the Wii U release, Bayonetta 2 will be available on a Switch cart, while the original will be a downloadable title.
Bayonetta 2 will also host a series of new features as well. In a blog post that has since been deleted, Platinum announced that Bayonetta 2 will have Local wireless cooperative play for the previously online-only co-op Tag Climax mode, Amiibo support, and video capture support.
Bayonetta 1 and 2 will be available on February 16th 2018, and just to keep you hyped up, check out The Game Awards announcement of Bayonetta 3 above!
