Night Dive Studios has made a name for itself recently for re-releasing older PC games that had fallen out of publication, they were responsible for the re-release of System Shock 2, the spiritual precursor to Bioshock. It was reported yesterday that the studio has file 4 trademarks that points to a re-release of a beloved Spy Spoof Shooter, The Operative: No One Lives Forever, which was originally published by Fox Interactive and was developed by Monolith (F.E.A.R. and Condemned series.)
Siliconera discovered the trademarks for “The Operative,” “No One Lives Forever,” “Agent in H.A.R.M.’s Way” and “Contract J.A.C.K.” Which were the sub-name and the title of all three games in the series. Shortly after the news broke Night Dive Studios CEO Steven Kick had stated “At this time we are unable to comment on future plans. I would like to add that our team has a great fondness for these games and our hope is that they will one day be re-released.”
