During the Playstation Experience last weekend, we were bombarded with news of new releases, but still some slipped through the cracks, like Platinum Games and Square Enix’s Nier:Automata. During the conference a small trailer was released with a very important note, the upcoming Action RPG/Brawler’s release date.
Platinum has confirmed that Nier:Automata will see a release in North America on March 7th 2017 for PS4 with the PC version launching on the same day, Europe will see the game on March 10th.
What wasn’t announced at PSX was that we’ll see a PS4 demo hitting the Playstation Store on December 22nd. Not much is known about the demo aside from the basic premise which will see android 2B entering an abandon factory to destroy a massive enemy weapon. There is no word on if the demo will extend to the PC at this time.
Finally we also got a glance at the game’s collectors edition, called the Black Box Edition. The Black Box edition will come with a Figurine of 2B, artbook, steelbook case, soundtrack, and the Day One edition’s digital goodies.
