EA released the latest trailer for their upcoming Fighting Simulator, UFC 2, to specifically highlight one of the new features that seems to correct our problems with the original, the new Knockout Physics Engine which looks to add more power and damage to your strikes. The trailer relives recent UFC bouts including the Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm from UFC 193 and Conor McGregor vs Jose Aldo from UFC 194, showcasing how these fights would look in the upcoming game.
Of course, the new Knock Out Physics Engine isn’t the only thing getting an update in UFC 2 as EA has promised to bring a more immersive and updated Grappling and Submission system. The game will also receive a set of new gameplay modes including the KO Mode, UFC Ultimate Team and a new Career mode that will allow you to create a female fighter to brawl through the ranks of the UFC.
“Whether fans want to play upcoming cards, recreate the outcome of recent fights, or go back to fight with MMA legends, we’ll help them do that in the most authentic and exciting way ever in an MMA simulation,” said Creative Director Brian Hayes.
UFC 2 is set for a March 15th 2016, pre-orders will include two bonus fighters in the form of UFC hall of fame fighter, Bas Rutten; and Japanese MMA legend, “The Gracie Hunter” Kazushi Sakuraba, as well as a mystery fighter that will be announced at a later time. The game will also feature a Deluxe Edition, priced at $89.99 which will include over $60 of UFC Ultimate Team Premium Packs.
