Admittingly the announcement of Persona 5 as a PS3 exclusive earlier this year was a bit of a downer, Persona fans who picked up their fancy new PS4’s would be very disappointed that they would have to jump back to their old (but still loved) PS3’s to enjoy summoning their Persona’s to kick shadow ass when the next title launches in 2015.
Atlus and Sega announced today that this would not be the case as Persona 5 will make the jump to PS4 as well when the game launches next year. While sadly we still do not have a full release date, however a new teaser trailer was shown at Sony’s Pre-TGS conference which showed what many to believe to be the main character for the next entry.
Persona 5 is confirmed for a North American release for 2015, and while fans wait, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is set for a release later this month with the 3DS exclusive Persona Q set for a November release.
