The upcoming First Person Shooter based on the Warhammer 40K licence, Space Hulk: Deathwing, is aiming for release sometime this year. Although we’ve sadly haven’t seen enough of the upcoming shooter, however new screenshots are making the wait just a bit more bearable.
Based on the Space Hulk boardgame, Space Hulk: Deathwing will have you take control of a Librarian and a squad of Terminators as they take on a Genestealer infestation while recovering ancient relics through a maze of mangled ships and asteroids which compose the Space Hulk, drifting along the currents of the Warp.
According to publisher Focus Home Interactive, the game will feature a full story campaign, all of the weapons you would expect from the Space Hulk boardgame (including the famous Storm Bolter, Assault Cannon, Lightning Claws, and Thunder Hammer), and the opportunity to play single player or Co-Op.
You can see the screenshots of the interior of the Space Hulk ships to give an idea how the game will look under the Unreal 4 engine.
