Konami release alot of new information about their upcoming Silent Hill games today. Some of the information is… Interesting to say the least.
Starting with Silent Hill Downpour, the upcoming SH game for Xbox360 and PS3, the game is now going to be fully compatible with 3D televisions, and features a new main theme song by nu-metal band Korn. The song “Silent Hill” is meant to compliment the feeling of the game, yet allot of fans (as crazy as fans are) have already started a petition on the issue. It does make you miss the days that Akira Yamatoa was working on the series.
More news about the Silent Hill HD Collection being release next year, the game is not going to be multi-platform like Konami’s other collection list, Metal Gear Solid HD and Zone of the Enders HD, and will only features Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3. The Collection is stated exclusively for PS3, but don’t panic, Konami has expressed that this may be a timed exclusive.
And Finally we have Silent Hill: Books of Memories, stated for the PSVita, is going to be a Multi-player experience. Sadly that was all that was announced about the title.
