We were already pumped for the inclusion of the X-Men in the upcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, however a new trailer released yesterday has now given us a closer look than just Wolverine taking on some Sentinels. It was previously confirmed that Wolverine, Nightcrawler and Storm would be playable in the final version of the game, but the latest trailer shows Psylocke and Beast.
The latest trailer gives some time for each of the X-Men to show off a bit as the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters is under attack by the Brotherhood of Mutants, highlighting battles against Mystique, the Juggernaut and Magneto – who happens to be wielding an Infinity Stone. This changes when the Black Order appears and forces Magneto to forge an Alliance. There is no confirmation if the three bosses will be playable. The trailer ends appropriately with the introduction of Deadpool, because it would be crazy to leave him out.
Another clip from the trailer also suggest the various major villains we’ll be fighting in the upcoming Action RPG which appears to include Killmonger, Dormammu, Green Goblin, Ultron and finally Magneto. Other bosses that have been confirmed at this time is Venom (who will also be playable), Nebula, Electro and of course, Thanos and the Black Order.
It was recently confirmed several other heroes will be making the cut, including Miles Morales Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Hawkeye, Ms.Marvel and Daredevil. We’re expecting to hear more heroes to be announced as the game gets closer to launch.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is being developed by Team Ninja as a Nintendo Switch Exclusive and is currently set to release on July 19th.
