NetherRealm announced the second group of Kombatants during the Game Awards last month, and introduced 4 new fighters to the game. This includes returning fighter, the drunken monk Bo’Rai Cho, as well as Tri-Borg, a fighter that is a mismatch of 3 cyborg fighters from the series. These two are also joined by two Horror icons, Leatherface and the Xenomorph from the Alien series.
For those who are excited by this additional fighters, we’re in for a treat according to a recent Tweet from NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon who stated that we’ll see some new gameplay footage later this week.
At the moment we don’t know when or which character will be shown during this presentation at this time.
