The original release for Atlus/VanillaWare’s Dragon’s Crown was back in 2013, you could be forgiven if you forgot how each of the classes in this amazing beat’em up played. Luckily Atlus has stepped in by delivering a quick character showcase trailer giving us a better look at the upgraded version of the game in action.
Dragon’s Crown gives you access to 6 playable characters, the Fighter, Barbarian, Dwarf, Elf, Wizard and sorceress, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Players are able to team up with 3 of their friends via online or couch co-op, or use dead soldiers to fill your party in single-player by finding bones and resurrecting them.
We personally can’t wait to jump back into Dragon’s Crown when it launches again on May 15th, luckily we’ll be able to bring our saved characters back with us as the game will also provide cross-compatibility with PS3 and PSVita versions of the game including cross save and play. Pre-ordering the game will get you the Battle-harden edition, which comes with a metal case, the game and 6 Tarot cards from the game based on the 6 hero classes.
