Kojima has this way with things that shouldn’t be helpful being a gameplay element in his games – like smoking in Metal Gear – for the upcoming Death Stranding, it’s urination.
As part of a new gameplay footage that attempt to explain more about the upcoming adventure game, in which we learn information about the mysterious Bridge Baby (called BB) and their connection to the Afterlife, as well as a new character called Mama who is played by Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s Margaret Qualley, who holds a special connection to the baby.
In terms of the new gameplay mechanic, players can manage their pee, even going as far as using the left and right triggers to control the direction of the fluid. Kojima did also confirm that you will not be able to see this in first person view or turn the camera in a way that you’d see Star Norman Reedus’ junk, because lets face it – that was the burning question everyone needed to ask about why there is the option to pee in this game. Apparently the Pee can also be used as a weapon and has some world improving benefits including growing mushrooms.
There is a lot of things happening in this game but we’re still lacking answers, and likely won’t see until its release date on November 8th 2019 exclusively for the PS4. So check out the trailer above and tell us what you think the game is going to be about.
