The last trailer for the up coming Bayonetta: Bloody Fate anime showed off the titular character taking on dozens of bad-guys in a bloody fast pace, hair-witching, gun-shoe action. But what it lacked was the rest of the cast of characters from the game.
Jeanne, Luka, Rodin, Enzo and Cereza will all be making a comeback, with new voice actors for the Japanese version of the anime. Notable voice include Atsuko Tanaka playing Bayonetta, who is best known Motoko Kusanagi from the various renditions of Ghost in the Shell. Jeanne will be voiced by Mie Sonozaki of Strike Witches fame and Eve in the Japanese version of Disney/Pixar’s Wall-E.
Bayonetta: Bloody Fate will hit specific theaters in Japan on November 23rd and is directed Fuminori Kizaki of Afro Samurai fame. Currently there is no official word on an English translation, however a disabled English option on the movie’s webpage suggests that the production company Gonzo is at least considering an international release.
