The Mary Elizabeth Winstead action thrill Kate is going to be Netflix’s next attempt at bringing their original content to gaming with an action rogue-like game called Kate: Collateral Damage.
The game is being developed by Brazilian indie team Ludic Studios, who’s best known for 2018’s Akane. The game offers the challenge of racing against time as Kate suffers radiation poisoning, and avoiding getting killed by the numerous Yakuza out to finish the job. Everyone, including Kate, can die within one or two hits and weapons will have to be picked from enemies Hotline Miami style.
Kate: Collateral Damage is set to release on October 22nd on Steam and currently appears to be a PC exclusive, we’ll update this post if there are any changes. Check out the trailer below for a better idea of what you can expect from this Netflix tie-in.
